Refund Policy
This policy explains eligibility, timelines, and how refunds are handled for consulting services and digital deliverables.
1) Overview
VisionaryBiz Advisors provides professional operations consulting, process improvement guidance, automation support, and performance system design. Because services involve time, expertise, and custom work, refunds depend on whether work has started and what has been delivered.
If a signed proposal/statement of work includes different refund terms, that document controls for that engagement.
2) Consulting Calls, Workshops & Project Work
Before work begins: If you cancel a paid engagement before any work starts, you may be eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable processing fees charged by payment providers.
After work begins: Once work has started (e.g., discovery, analysis, meetings, drafting, tool setup), refunds are generally not available for amounts covering time already spent. However, we may provide a partial refund at our discretion based on:
- Work completed versus the planned scope and timeline.
- Any deliverables already shared (process maps, SOPs, dashboards, automation blueprints).
- Meeting time already held and non-cancellable costs incurred.
If a project is paused due to client-side delays (missing access, approvals, or data), fees for completed work remain earned. We can typically reschedule remaining sessions or adjust timelines to re-align.
3) Digital Deliverables & Templates
If you purchase downloadable or digital deliverables (templates, documents, toolkits, or files), refunds are usually not provided once the content is delivered or accessed, due to the non-returnable nature of digital goods.
If you experience a technical issue (corrupted file, wrong file, access problems), contact us and we will provide a replacement, corrected link, or alternative delivery method.
4) Deposits, Retainers & Prepayments
Deposits and retainers reserve capacity and scheduling. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, deposits/retainers are non-refundable once the engagement window is reserved. If cancellation occurs early, we may convert a deposit into a credit for future services (subject to availability).
5) Rescheduling & Credits
If you need to reschedule a call or workshop, please notify us as early as possible. We aim to be flexible and may offer:
- Rescheduling to a new date/time within a reasonable window.
- A credit toward a future booking (instead of a refund), especially when work has started.
- Scope adjustments if priorities changed mid-project.
Repeated last-minute cancellations may reduce eligibility for credits.
6) Chargebacks & Disputes
If you have an issue, contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and can result in suspension of services while the dispute is reviewed. We maintain documentation of time, deliverables, communication, and approvals to support fair outcomes.
7) How to Request a Refund Review
Send a request with your name, invoice number (if available), service purchased, and a clear explanation of the issue. We typically respond within a reasonable timeframe and may request additional information to evaluate eligibility.
